Supporting the rollout of defibrillators in schools
We are proud to support the rollout of defibrillators in academies and schools following the announcement from the government that the Department for Education is supplying Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs or 'defibrillators') to state-funded education providers in England that don’t already have such equipment in place.

Flood warnings from Previsico
Through Previsico, we offer customers a live surface water flood alert service. This solution provides warnings for your school if it is as risk of imminent flooding, via email notification, allowing you to take targeted action.

Our insurance product provides a complete package of covers for academies, independent schools, free schools and local-authority-maintained schools, to meet their demands and needs. Customers can select the covers and limits to meet their specific requirements. For academies, there is also a set package available which specifies the covers, limits and excesses.
The target market is:
- Schools registered as academies in England
- Independent (privately funded) schools
- Local-authority-maintained schools (LAMS), which may include voluntary aided schools
The distribution method is direct to customer.
We carried out a Fair Value Assessment (FVA) of the product on 24th July 2024 in accordance with Zurich’s published FVA methodology. The assessment confirmed that the product provides fair value.
